You need not know the context behind these words (although you can probably guess), but I was struck my hubby's wisdom and reminded there is great strength that comes from being known by another.
"Did you know that a hot flame that simply burns does not constructively gain much, but a flame that is harnessed and focused can be used to weld; even better melt two metals together. This laser can actually achieve what otherwise seems impossible to do, simply because it is focused and used correctly. Are not our passions, skill-sets & dreams similar? If they simply 'burn' they will not achieve much, but if they are focused and used correctly, they will achieve what otherwise seemed impossible to do...."
Much needed encouragement from my other (& oftentimes better) half.
