Long Overdue

April has been a busy month for us, filled with lots of time with family and friends. Although I won't recount every detail, here is a glimpse through some pictures.

On our trip to Phoenix, we went for a beautiful hike through the mountains, navigated by my cousin Mark. The views were breathtaking throughout.
Once we reached the top
This was Zoe's first Easter where she really understood what was going on. During our time in AZ, she went for an Easter egg hunt and had the bunny face to show it:)

Easter with the Paul fam.
The following weekend, Suz & Kyle made their first visit to Chicago post-Rowan. We had a wonderful time connecting with them; here we are taking a break after inhaling pounds of Garrett's carmel corn...yuum.
This needs to happen way more often that it does. Next time we're going to throw Rowan in the mix.
And finally, this past weekend we traveled to Indy for Zoe's first annual dance recital. We also got to spend the day with our friends Sarah & Adam (+baby Luke) who I sadly did not capture any pictures of.
Zoe was LOVING her tutu:)
The Heil Fam.

We have been so grateful to spend our first four months of marriage with treasured family and friends, and it's going to continue into the next four months with trips to Michigan, Florida, and Oregon. Needless to say, our sofa bed is being used regularly and we like it:)

When are you coming to Michigan? We should try to do a double date! Or you guys could just come here for dinner.
